DUTCH SOUNDS.

Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. North Sea Jazz Fest.

Mrs. Candy Dulfer. Born ´69 at Amsterdam.She started playing sax at 6, her first time on stage was with her Dad´s band where she performs her first solo.

At 12 she performs at the North Sea Jazz Festival for the first time with Rosa King as a member of her Ladies Horn section.

At 14 she starts her own band called Funky Stuff, that starts getting followers and recognition from de medias. Record companies offered her deals, she turns them all down.

´87 Funky Stuff opens for Madonna in Rotterdam. The band plays loads of sold out gigs all over the country. 

Prince invites her on stage for an impromtu blues, where she brings the house down and she´s invited to work in more projects in the States. 

There she performs saxophone parts with Patty LaBelle, Jil Jones and Prince, after some work in the States she turns down the offer to go on a worldwide tour with Prince. ¨For my personal wellbeing is better to go on my own way¨ , she saids. 

She recorded with Rod Stewart, after that she accepts to sign with BMG Ariola, under the terms of: total artistic freedom, and her first album is out ¨Sexuality¨.

´90 she plays on stage with Pink Floyd doing the legendary solos of ¨Shine on you crazy diamond¨and ¨Money.

Her next album is ¨Sax-A-Go-Go¨, with guests like Tower of Power and Maceo Parker, and a song written for her by Prince.

The 3rd album is out ¨Big Girl.

In ´97 the next album is out ¨For the love of you¨

´99 the album ¨Girls night out¨is released worldwide.

In 2002 she jams with musicians like Alicia Keys, Sheila E., and Erykah Badu  at Prince´s after show.

October 2002 the album with her father is released ¨Dulfer Dulfer¨.

April 2003 the new solo album is out ¨Right in my Soul¨, mainly recorded in London.

2007 ¨Candy Store¨is released by her new record label, Heads Up International.

Playing in different festivals and with great musicians like her self Mrs. Dulfer is recognized worldwide as a great Funky Jazz player.

She is a great show and perfect sound, don´t miss her up if you have the chance.

Fuera, en busca de banderolas publicitarias de PVC olvidadas, de fechas pasadas   y eventos que acaban VAHO recolecta lo que en algún momento fue considerado basura para llevarlo a un almacenamiento, pasar por un proceso creativo de diseño en los talleres, transformarse de materiales que se tiran y se queman a bolsas sillones y carteras entre muchas otras ideas.

Con un diseño ideado, se transportan a  CEO de Maresme (fundación que impulsa y promueve la integración social) donde se encargan de manipular y limpiar con vinagre a la publicad olvidada.

La confección entra en proceso dentro de los talleres de la cárcel La Modelo de Barcelona ahora las banderolas tienen un nuevo comienzo.

VAHO controla la calidad y reintegra desechos en forma de objetos con nuevos motivos.
